What We Believe
Apostolic to the Core
At Lifeway Ministries, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith, salvation, and Christian living. Our beliefs are firmly rooted in Scripture, and we are committed to proclaiming the truth of God's Word with love, conviction, and clarity.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe:
The Mighty God in Christ
One of the beautiful themes found throughout Scripture is that the God of the Old Testament is revealed in Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
The Bible consistently identifies Jesus as the fulfillment of the titles, attributes, and works that belong to God alone.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe:
- The Holy Bible is God's Word
- The Bible is the final authority concerning God, salvation, and Christian living.
- By the Word of God, Jesus is God in the flesh (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-14, I Timothy 3:16, and Hebrews 1:1-3)
- The Plan of Salvation for the New Testament Church is clearly revealed and first proclaimed on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2)--specifically Acts 2:38 which states, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Key Scriptures
- I Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
- II Corinthians 5:19 "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."
- Colossians 2:8-9 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
The Truth We Believe
We believe the Bible consistently reveals one God who chose to make Himself known through Jesus Christ.
The same God who spoke through the prophets of the Old Testament came to humanity as Jesus Christ to provide redemption and salvation for all.
Because of this, we joyfully proclaim Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior and seek to live according to His Word every day.
